Often times just knowing that you are part of a team, causes you to give less than all you have. This is because in a ‘tragedy of the commons’ kind of way, you assume someone on the team will cover for you. Sure there is no ‘I’ in team, but that doesn’t mean that ‘I’ cannot make a difference. It doesn’t mean that ‘I’ should not be responsible for ‘my’ share of duties. In order for a team to get inspired results, you and ‘I’ need to bring our ‘A’ game each and every day. We all want to achieve the best in the corporate world but the only way to do so is to contribute and contribute 100%. So although together everyone achieves more, how much more could you achieve if you turned your weakest link into another strong one? It appears that the strength of the pack is in the wolf and the strength of the wolf is in the pack. In the end, the best formula for team success is the realization that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts – but this is only true when each player is swinging for the fences.

Whether you own your business, or are part of one, are you giving it 100% so ‘Together Everyone Achieves More?’
