IN THE MEDIA -JANNAH EMPLOYEES TO GET SPECIAL CAREER TRAINING

Jannah Hotels and Resorts has taken on the services of a published author and motivational speaker to provide career and personal development guidance to hundreds of its employees.

Oudi Abouchacra, founder of the Abu Dhabi-based company, Inspired Results, is running 60 seminars over the course of the year for senior management and employees across Jannah’s full portfolio of six hotels and resorts in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

“The course covers what I like to call the laws of corporate inspiration,” said Abouchacra. “These laws are designed to put the heartbeat into the corporate body by inspiring each key player on the team to bring their ‘A’ game each and every day.”

Aim of the seminars

The seminars – a key element of Jannah’s comprehensive employee development programme – will guide participants in several phases of their professional life, covering such aspects as team-building, workplace inspiration, and alignment with anticipated corporate expansion.

The management of Jannah Hotels and Resorts is aiming to provide learning and training curve for each and every individual, regardless of their position within the company. The This seminar is one of many ways the company aims to achieve that working with the fantastic talents at Jannah.

Abouchacra is a Canadian life-coach specialising in the science of personal and professional empowerment. He is also a doctor of chiropractic, a certified Demartini Method facilitator, and a professional speech coach. His seminars will be conducted over the course of the year at a rate of five every month, initially for senior managerial staff before moving on to hotel employees.

Alignment phase

Abouchacra outlined the various phases of the seminars as they progress throughout the year. After helping to inspire participants, they move on to the alignment phase, which seeks to unite the team and connect the personal and professional visions of individuals with other team members.

The growth stage then prepares the team for future growth and expansion and is based on connecting individual visions with that of not only their customers but with the company.

“Professionally, the seminars will help individuals appreciate their work more,” he said. “It will help them become more adaptable and resilient so they can seize the opportunity before them. And, on a personal level, it will help them not only appreciate their work, but appreciate their life.” More than 300 people are employed by Jannah in the UAE and overseas across its portfolio of world class hotels and resorts.
